Processing DEKASYL MS-6 can be easily processed with a hand or air pressure gun at temperatures from +5 °C to 35 °C. For sealing, DEKASYL MS-6 should be further processed or smoothed within 30 minutes (at 20 °C\/50 % rel. humidity) with a trowel or putty knife previously dipped in mild DEKAFINISHER. Avoid penetration of DEKAFINISHER between the bonding sides and the sealant, as this will result in loss of adhesion. For bonding, the substrates must be assembled within 35 minutes (at 20 °C\/50 % rel. humidity) after application of DEKASYL MS-6. The higher the temperature, the shorter the open time! In general, an adhesive layer of 2 mm is recommended if similar materials (with similar strength) are to be bonded.
