The benefit of such a system is that all devices in the vehicle can use a shared internet connection. This is achieved by providing a private dual-band WLAN and a wired LAN within the vehicle. The connection between the Oyster® Access \/ Oyster® EasyNet and the internet can take place in two different ways:\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e• Via an LTE connection over the mobile network, using a SIM card inserted by the customer\u003cbr\u003e• Use of a locally available, publicly accessible WLAN (e.g. at a campsite \/ parking area or other public WLAN hotspots)\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eProven features retained yet everything is new.\u003cbr\u003eBoth the new Oyster® Access and the new Oyster® EasyNet consist of an electronics unit installed in the vehicle and an external antenna mounted on the vehicle roof. The connection between the electronics unit and external antenna in Oyster® Access and Oyster® EasyNet takes place in the classic way via four high-quality coaxial antenna cables each. Unlike the Oyster® Connect, all electronics are concentrated in a single, compact housing inside the vehicle. This also allows the SIM card readers to be conveniently positioned on the front of the Oyster® Access and Oyster® EasyNet.
