The problem is well-known and frustrating: despite a powerful alternator, the auxiliary battery does not charge fully even on longer journeys. The causes are long cable runs, small cable cross-sections and greatly varying charge states of starter and auxiliary batteries.
In addition, various consumers must be supplied during driving.
VOTRONIC charge converters provide a solution by charging the auxiliary battery quickly and gently in accordance with battery manufacturer specifications. Even on short journeys the battery is charged at full charging current. Losses from long charging cables on large vehicles and voltage fluctuations at the alternator (Euro 6) are compensated. Vehicles with 12 V and 24 V on-board voltage are optimally supplied by selecting the appropriate device. Of course galvanically isolated. This prevents voltage surge in case of fault, unwanted reverse discharge and suppresses interference in the on-board network. The compact devices are in no way inferior to identically designed mains chargers.
Here too, an intelligent microprocessor controls the robust power electronics and ensures optimal charging and safe operation. The 6-stage charging curves can be set for classic lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries as well as modern lithium LiFePO4 batteries. Connected consumers are automatically supplied even if the on-board network is heavily loaded. Automatic power regulation provides the necessary safety and starting capability of the vehicle.

Technical data

Electrical connection data

Connection voltage

12V

Product data unpacked

Length

23,5 cm

Width / depth

13,9 cm

Height

7,4 cm

Weight

1,3 kg

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0815/3625/4207/files/84017_84026_871e88b1-9f60-4f12-a49b-b06ae80ff8ba.jpg?v=1778544015
