The large diagonal viewing angle of 140° for monitoring the area behind the vehicle enables safe backing and parking. The CCD sensor used offers high resolution, good light sensitivity and good signal-to-noise ratio. Circularly placed around the sensor are 6 IR LEDs, which, controlled by an LDR light sensor, provide automatic twilight and night illumination. The ZE-RCE3804 has an internal microphone for additional acoustic monitoring of what is happening behind the vehicle during maneuvering.
