The classic among sealants: dab-off Dekaseal 8936 impresses with its high sealing performance, UV resistance and elasticity, as it does not harden and remains slightly tacky – which is why it cannot be painted over. Ideal for applications without a visible joint edge (flaps, hatches, side windows, keder strips, exterior sockets, etc.). Besides its excellent sealing, its strength is easy removal, making it well suited to joints that need to be taken apart again later.

Application:

Dekaseal 8936 can be applied by hand or with a compressed-air gun. When using compressed air, 2–3 bar is required. Spread into joints, gaps, etc. and smooth off. After a short flash-off time, excess material can be dabbed off with itself. The material can be removed with white spirit. The sealant remains slightly tacky after drying but is odorless and does not attack paint.

Application:

Sealing overlaps and joints, e.g. in bus, caravan, motorhome, train and truck construction.
Sealing screwed connections.
Sealing sunroof systems.
Application under trim strips when installing windows and skylights in caravans, motorhomes, trailers and container construction.
Suitable for use between metal sheets, glass, GRP, wood and other materials.
Sealing rubber-to-glass joints in buses, cars, trains and trucks.

Statutory warranty

The statutory warranty for defects applies to all products. For new goods purchased by consumers, the warranty period is two years from delivery. If a product is defective, please e-mail info@stahlor.com with your order number, a short description of the defect and, where possible, photos.

A manufacturer's guarantee, where offered, applies in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them.
