General Terms and Conditions of Stahlor GmbH, Karlstr. 11, 88069 Tettnang, Germany (commercial register: Amtsgericht Ulm, HRB 751397; VAT ID: DE460242045; e-mail: info@stahlor.com) for orders placed in the online shop shop.stahlor.com.

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between Stahlor GmbH and its customers via the online shop shop.stahlor.com. Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless expressly agreed in writing. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 BGB).

2. Products and conclusion of contract

Stahlor GmbH supplies products for caravan, camping and automotive applications. The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to place an order. By completing the checkout and clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart. A contract is concluded when we confirm your order by e-mail or deliver the goods. The contract language is English.

3. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are in euros and include the statutory value-added tax. Shipping costs are stated separately in the cart and at checkout; delivery areas, costs and times are set out in our Shipping policy. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes and carrier fees are payable by the recipient.

4. Payment

Payment is made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

5. Delivery

Delivery areas, delivery times and products that are delivered within Germany only are set out in our Shipping policy. Unforeseeable events such as force majeure, supply shortages or delays caused by third parties entitle Stahlor GmbH to a reasonable extension of the delivery period.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The conditions, the effects of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form are set out in our Refund policy.

7. Retention of title

Delivered goods remain the property of Stahlor GmbH until the purchase price has been paid in full.

8. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. Stahlor GmbH is liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. In cases of slight negligence, Stahlor GmbH is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

9. Quotations and project-based orders

Products that cannot be ordered in the online shop for a particular destination can be requested as a quotation at info@stahlor.com. For quotation- and project-based orders, delivery follows the specifications defined in the quotation. Changes or additions require written agreement.

10. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence. For contracts with merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Stahlor GmbH.
